Kukuwa Fraser (née Ashun) is a writer and editor from Brooklyn, New York. A progeny of Ghanaian immigrants, Kukuwa holds a BA in creative writing from SUNY Purchase and an MFA from New York University. She was a 2021 Kweli Writing Fellow, 2023 Artist-in-Residence at the Silver Sun Foundation, and a 2023 Kimbilio Fellow. She is working on a novel.
